Saint Louis Malayalee association came into existence in 1991 to foster brotherhood and ties between all malayalees in the city of Saint Louis. The association seeks to preserve the North American Malayali intergrity and promotes Kerala Cultural identity. Saint Louis Malayalee Association is comprised of over 300 malayalee families. Celebrations of Onam and Christmas in family get-togethers developed the fraternity among the Malayalees. The Association activities were not limited to Easter/Vishu, Out door picnics, Onam, Kerala Day and Christmas celebrations. The youth wing of the Association gave an opportunity for our youth to meet together and appreciate the Kerala culture.
