Saint Louis Malayalee association came into existence in 1991 to foster brotherhood and ties between all malayalees in the city of Saint Louis. The association seeks to preserve the North American Malayali intergrity and promotes the Kerala Cultural identity. Celebrations of Onam and Christmas in family get-togethers developed the fraternity among the Malayalees. The Association activities were not limited to Easter/Vishu, Onam and Christmas celebrations. Picnics were organized, effort was taken to screen Malayalam movies in theatres. The youth wing of the Association gave an opportunity for our youth to meet together and appreciate the Kerala culture |
